Access DNS Portal


1. Type in the following web address in the web browser or click on the link provided.

1. Users already registred on DNS Portal will type in their E-Mail address

2. Users already registred on DNS Portal will type in their Password 

   Click on Forgot password? if you cannot remember the password

3. Select/Click on the Login button to open the User page 

4. New Users must select the Register option

1. Click on Forgot password? if you can not remember the password.

2. The Forgot Password screen will open.

3. Type in your/user E-mail address that was Registered.

4. Tick the I'm not a robot security check that will confirm the E-mail address and follow the steps.

5. Once E-mail address was verified click on Send reset link

Registration of an User Account


1. Fill in the company's Trading Name

2. Fill in the User's First Name

3. Fill in the User's Last name

4. Fill in the User's Job Title (e.g. owner, finance, admin, etc.)

5. Fill in the User's Telephone number +00. (international dialing code) 000000000 (the 9 digit telephone number)

6. Fill in the User's E-Mail address and Confirm E-mail address

7. Capture a Password and Confirm Password

8. Tick the Agree with Acceptable Use Policy box

9. Select the Register button in order to continue to the following screen

Registration of an User Account


1. After clicking on the Register button you will receive this pop-up notification

2. Click on the OK button to continue

3. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you captured in order to verify the address captured by the new user.

After cliking the OK button a notification screen will appear that reminds the user to check for the e-mail sent by DNS Portal Support

1. The user who registered will receive an e-mail from DNS Portal Support.

2. The user will be requested to click on the Verify Account link.

3. The link will take the user back to the original Login page.

Access DNS Portal


1. Registration of an User Account is now completed.

2. Type in the user E-mail address typed in during the registration process.

3. Type in the user Password typed in during the registration process.

4. Click on the Login button to proceed to the portal.

1. The user will automatically be taken to the DNS Portal Dashboard screen that contains notifications of recent system changes and updates

1. Select or click on the Account button in order to commence with creation of a new user account.

2. Please populate the different areas/tabs as listed on the screen:

    

- Company

    

- Addresses

   

- Contacts

    

- Logo

3. Please ensure that you have the correct and updated information at hand to complete all the required fields listed within the different tabs.

On the first tab fill in all the information regarding the user's/registrar's Company

1. Trading Name: fill in the training name your company utilise

2. Company Name & Reg #: fill in the company name as registered

3. Company registration number: fill in the company's registration number as per the registration certificate.

**Please note: Company Name and Reg # here must show in the Registration Certificate

4. Registration Certificate: Click on the Upload button in order to open your browser/files for an electronic .pdf copy of the company's Registration Certificate.

1. Registration Certificate: Click on the Upload button.

2. Click on the Select File button in order to open your browser/files on your PC.

3. Search on you browser/files for an electronic .pdf copy of the company's Registration Certificate and select the file.

4. The file name will appear in the area marked as yellow.

1.  Once the user has uploaded the .PDF format of the Company Registration Certificate the information captured will be verified to correspond with the details on the registration certificate.

2.  On the left of the pop-up screen it will show Uploaded

3.  Click on the Close button to proceed.

1. After closing the Registration Certificate pop-up screen the user may continue capturing the following information:

-  VAT or Tax#

-  URLs

-  Contact Details

-  ICANN Information

1.  Type in the company's VAT or Tax number for billing purposes.

2.  Type/provide the company's URL.  Please note that the "*" indicates that this is a compulsory field.

3. Type/provide the company's Product URL.  Please note that the "*" indicates that this is a compulsory field.

4. In the Whois URL field is not compulsory, unless the User/Registrar is ICANN Accredited.

1. Fill in the Telephone number +00. (international dialing code) 000000000 (the 9 digit telephone number) utilised for General Enquiries

2  Fill in the Telephone number +00. (international dialing code) 000000000 (the 9 digit telephone number) utilised for Technical Support

3. Fill in the Company's E-Mail address. 

4.  The ICANN Information field is not compulsory, unless the User/Registrar is ICANN Accredited.

5.  The RAA version field is not compulsory, unless the User/Registrar is ICANN Accredited.

6.  Click on the Save button in order to proceed and have the information captured processed.

Access to DNS Portal - Create an Account


1.  Once all the required fields have been populated and the user clicked on the Save button a Processing notification will appear.

2.  The user will be able to proceed once Processing is complete.

3.  The user will be able to Cancel the process if/when required.

Registration Process: Completing the information on the Address tab


Click on the Addresses tab in order to capture the user's:

-  Physical Address

-  Postal Address

-  Billing Address

Registration: Capture Physical and Postal Address


1.  Fill in the fields provided with information regarding Physical Address, It consisits of street number and name, suburb. This information is compulsory.

2. Type the name of the City your business is operating from.  

3. Fill in the area Zip/Code applicable to the street addresses.

4. Type the name of the State/Province where the business is situated.

5. To select a Country, click on the Select button, it will provide the list of countries to select from.

6. In te event that the Postal Address is the same as the Physical Address already captured, tick the Copy Physical Address button

7. Please note that all the text fields for Postal Address are compulsory.

Registration: Billing Address


1.  Fill in the fields provided with information regarding Billing Address.  This information is compulsory.

2. In te event that the Billing Address is the same as the Physical Address and Postal Address already captured, tick the Copy Postal Address button

3. Type the name of the City your business is operating from.  

4. Fill in the area Zip/Code applicable to the street addresses.

5. Type the name of the State/Province where the business is situated.

6. To select a Country, click on the Select button, it will provide the list of countries to select from.

6. In te event that the Postal Address is the same as the Physical Address already captured, tick the Copy Physical Address button

7. Select/click on the Save button in oder to proceed.

Registration: Adding Contacts


1.  Select the Contacts tab to add the names and edit the information for the following company/registrar:

     

- Primary Contact: The Primary contact is the main point of contact for User Account. By default, this will always be the first user listed on this account.

    

- Abuse Contact: The Abuse contact is responsible for handling enquiries related to malicious conduct concerning a domain registration. This information will be displayed in the whois listing for any domain name where Elize is the Registrar. As required by ICANN

*will be assigned once a person was added as a new User on this page or Users page

     

- Billing Contact: The Billing Contact will receive notification about financial documents from the Registry via email. 

This contact will not be displayed in the whois listing and is not the billing contact associated with a domain name registration.

Registration: Registrar Contacts - Primary/Admin Contact


**  The Primary contact is the main point of contact for Portal Account. By default, this will always be the first user listed on this account. Please ensure a Passport or Identification document has been uploaded for this contact.

1.  Select the click here option in order to add the identification document of the Primary/Admin User

2.  The Abuse and Billing contacts are added by selecting the click here option

By default, this will always be the first user listed on this account. 

Please ensure a Passport or Identification document has been uploaded for this contact.

1.  Click on Account Password tab in order to change the password of the Admin/Primary User.

2.  Click on the Account Profile tab in order to view the name, surname and contact details of the Admin/Primary user.

3.  Click on the Identification Document tab in order to add/update the identifivation document of the Admin/Primary User.

Click on Account Password tab in order to change the password of the Admin/Primary User.

Type in the Current password* and click on the Next button

2. Click on Select to access browser to search for and select the applicable image or document

3. Utilise the Resize option to ensure that the image to be displayed is suitable

The user that commenced with the registration process (Admin user) will be able to Add users.

The admin user can select 5 types of users based on their functions within the business:

-  Admin

-  Technical

-  Billing

-  Domain Manager

-  Marketing 

1. Tick in the applicable box for funtion/user that should be added.

2. Fill in the First Name of the user/person.

3. Fill in the Last Name of the person.

4. Fill in the E-mail of the person.

5. Click on the Send button to forward a notification to the person.

The user will receive an email directing him/her to create an account by following the Create Account link.

Once the Registrar has created a user profile a transacting account will be created.

The following information will be available:

- Account Balance

- Payment History

- Financial Documents

- Billable Transactions

- Pricelist

Click on the Top Up tab to add funds to the wallet

1.  Select an amount from the available options. 

2.  Tick Agree with Payment Terms & Conditions box.

1.  Enter the Credit Card number

2.  Enter the Expiry month & year of the credit card

3. Type the name of the Cardholder as it appears on the credit card used

4. Enter the Security code on the back of the card

Follow the steps as presented in the secure payment area to complete Top Up purchase

Click on View More in order to view and download the transaction history as Copy, CSV, Excel, PDF or Print

Click on the Pricelist tab in order to view available extensions in alphabetical order.

Type an extension in the search block and press Enter to view only one extension at a time or scroll down or click on Next button

Extension: also known as TLD  

Sale: If the TLD on a sale or not  

New: cost to create a domain under with an extension ( is this the TLDs)  

Premium: Premium depends on the registry premium name list   

Redeem: Cancellation of a deletion due to expiry of a domain (restore price + renewal price)  

Renew: cost to renew a domain under thie selected extension for another year/12 months (cost to renew a domain for a specified period)

Restore: Cost to restore/reinstate the TLDs if expired. Cancellation of a manual deletion.  

Transfer: Cost to transfer the domain name and extension to another registrar

Copy: Image will be placed in clipboard of ten (10) entries appearing on the screen at any given time. Click on next to view the next ten entries. User can paste the image into a program of their choice.

CSV:  The data is downloaded and exported to a software program of the user's choice.

PDF: A .PDF file is downloaded that shows all the domains and pricing.

WHOIS: 

Whois (pronounced as the phrase Who is) represents a protocol that is mainly used to find details and information about domain names, networks and hosts. The Whois records contain data referring to various organizations and contacts related to the domain names. The Whois protocols operate by means of a server where anyone is allowed to connect and create a query; the Whois server will then respond to this query and end the connection.
