Click on the Web-RAR menu option on the homescreen
The Web-RAR Login screen will appear

Please utilise the EPP password that was sent to the user during registration process on DNS Gateway. It was sent via e-mail.
1. Type in the EPP Password
2. Tick the Remember button enabling the database to recognise the user in future.
3. Click on the Log in button in order to access Web-RAR functionality.

After completion of the Log in step the Web-Rar Home screen will open.
The Web-Rar Dashboard will show the Domains, Expiring domains and Messages related to the registrar as a summary on the homepage.
Information is provided regarding the .africa domain and the Pricelist on other available TLDs

Description of different tabs:
1. Web-RAR Dashboard: Active domains registered by registrar in terms of Domains (information similar to My Domains tab)
2. New Domain: Determine if a domain already exists - search function.
3. My Domains: Domains already registered by a registrar.
4. Contacts: Users that have worked on the system and who has access.
5. Messages: History of actions with registry.
6. Pricelist: pricing on other available TLDs

1. Click on the New Domain tab.
2. Type in the Domain Name required.
3. Click on Check Availability in order to determine if the Domain Name exists/is available.
A list of available domains will appear.

The list of available domain names and applicable pricing will appear.
The registrar decides which domain to be registered.
Click on Register to follow the steps associated with registering the domain name.

1. Set Auto Renew Status: On|OFF select ON if domain should auto renew for another 1 year/12 months.
2. Set Contacts: Capture the contact details for the users(s) responsible for the following functions of Registrant, Admin, Tech, Billing.

Adding new contacts
1. Complete the General Information fields - take note of the compulsory fields marked with "*"
2. Complete the Localised Address fields - take note of the compulsory fields marked with "*"

2. Internationalised Address is optional.
3. Select Save to continue

Adding of a new contact was completed
1. Assign a role to the new contact by selecting from the Use this new contact for: list.
2. Click on Close to return to the domain registration field
3. Click on the Save button to continue

Set Contacts: Add the contact details of the Registrant, Admin, Tech and Billing
If all the same person tick the Copy Registrant to Admin, Tech, Billing box

Set Name Servers that is required by selecting one of the following:
- Custom Nameservers: User enters own set of nameservers.
- Park: Default option. Will just register nameserver until user revisits.
- Spin: Spin your domain and redirect to a web page of your choice.

1. Type in the web site to where the New Domain must be re-directed/forwarded
2. Type in the new Email address
3. Add any existing email address to be forwarded to

If a domain is not available click on the Transfer Domain button
1. Type in the Domain
2. Type in the Authinfo consisting of any of the following: the Domain Password, EPP or Authinfo code
3. Select the Next button to continue

The cost associated to transferring the domain will be shown.
Select the Confirm Transfer button to proceed.

Domain count: The number of domains already registered
Domain: the name of the website
Zone: extensions eg capetown, org, com
Registrant: Person the domain is registered to. The registrar is not the same as the registrant
Created: Date the domain was created
Expiry: Date the domain is due for renewal/expiry

To perform the following actions with the data provided:
Copy: image will be placed in clipboard for ten (10) entries appearing on the screen at any given time. Click on next to view the next ten entries. User can paste the image into a program of their choice.
CSV: The data is downloaded and exported to a software program of the user's choice.
PDF: A .PDF file is downloaded that shows all the domains registered.
All domains (CSV):

1. Click on the Expiring Domains button to view a list of domain expiry dates
2. Summary/notification of number of domains due for expiry
3. Click on the Renew tab of the domain to be renewed

Click on the Renew tab of the domain to be renewed will show a confirmation screen.
Select Renew Domain to renew
A screen showing the amount payable for renewal will appear whilst processing the action
Click on Done tab once process completed

1. Type in the name of the contact to Search for the person
2. List can be copied, exported as CSV or PDF formats
Contact ID: ID given to the contact upon adding as new contact
Name: Name and Surname of the contact
Email: Email address of the contact
Phone: Telephone number of the contact
Linked:
Created: date the contact was added onto Web-RAR as a user

History of actions with Registry
1. Type in the topic of the message to Search for.
2. List can be copied, exported as CSV or PDF formats
Message: Topic of the message
Date: Date the Registry has posted the message.
Status: Indication that the message has been viewed/read
Message ID: Source of message
Message Details: the user has to view/read the message.
Action: Indicator that the user has read the message.

Click on View Message button to view/read the message.
The message will appear on a pop-up screen.
Click on Close once contents were read.

Once the message has been viewed/read the Messages screen updates the Status, Message Details and Action.

Click on the Pricelist tab in order to view available extensions in alphabetical order.
Type an extension in the search block and press Enter to view only one extension at a time or scroll down or click on Next button
Extension: also known as TLD
Sale: If the TLD on a sale or not
New: cost to create a domain under an extension ( is this the TLDs)
Premium: Premium depends on the registry premium name list
Redeem: Cancellation of a deletion due to expiry of a domain (restore price + renewal price)
Renew: cost to renew a domain under thie selected extension for another year/12 months (cost to renew a domain for a specified period)
Restore: Cost to restore/reinstate the TLDs if expired. Cancellation of a manual deletion.
Transfer: Cost to transfer the domain name and extension to another registrar
